ЕлементиElements – Special Edition (September 2025): Climate Services in Focus
This special edition of Elements is dedicated to climate services as a key bridge between scientific knowledge and real-world decision-making. The issue brings together contributions from climate scientists, social scientists, technologists, educators, and artists to explore how climate data, tools, and services can support adaptation, resilience, and climate-informed policies.
Topics covered include climate literacy, climate and social justice, climate change and health, digital tools such as the Digital Climate Atlas of Serbia, and the role of data-driven technologies in agriculture and urban planning. The issue also examines the cultural and historical dimensions of understanding weather and climate, as well as the transformative potential of art and creative practices in mobilizing collective climate action.
Through expert interviews, analytical articles, and case studies from Serbia and Europe, this edition highlights climate services as an essential public good—connecting science, policy, and society at a time when informed action is urgently needed.
